Museum Management, Certificate
Learning Outcomes
- Students will be able to apply the theories and principles of museum registration and collection's management.
- Students will be able to curate a museum exhibition from start to finish.
- Students will be able to apply the dispositions, competencies, and best practices as a professional in the museum management field.
Certificate Requirements (15-18 Hours)
Anyone with a bachelor's degree conferred by the program start date may apply to the Museum Management Certificate Program. The Certificate of Graduate Study in Museum Management will be awarded upon the completion of 15 semester hours, including one required internship. All students must complete the core curriculum of 6 hours of core courses, an internship practicum for 3 or more credit hours, and up to 6 credit hours of approved electives.
