Art Studio Minor
In the studio art minor, students choose an emphasis in 2D or 3D art. The minor consists of coursework across graphic design and illustration, ceramics, 3D studies, painting, drawing, photography and printmaking. Students in the minor gain attractive skills, such as attention to detail, time management and self-discipline, which may lead to employment in a multitude of careers both within and beyond the art world.

Additional Courses (12 Hours)
Choose three 200+ level 4-credit ARTS courses. It is recommended that students follow the discipline-specific Advisement Tracks when choosing their courses, to focus in Graphic Design, Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Photography, Ceramics, Sculpture, Jewelrymaking, or Generalist 2D or 3D Studio. These Advisement Tracks are available through the School of Visual Art and Design.
