Statistics Minor

Statistics can be applied to a wide range of careers, making a minor a great addition for students pursuing fields such as public health, marketing or business. A minor consists of 18 hours of 500-level statistics courses, providing experience with some of the key elements of a statistics major, such as fundamental statistical analyses, understanding of probability and mathematical statistics as well as the ability to use statistical programming languages. Students will also gain strength in technical writing and presentation skills.

Minor Requirements (18 Hours)

  • 18 hours of 500 level Statistics courses

Note: Credit will be given for only one of STAT 509 or STAT 515.
