Artificial Intelligence Literacy, Certificate
This certificate requires a minimum of 12 hours and must be earned in concurrence with an undergraduate degree program. A student may only be awarded the certificate in the same semester the student is awarded an undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina. At least 50% of a student’s undergraduate certificate coursework must be completed at the University of South Carolina and all coursework that applies to the certificate must be earned with a grade of C or better.

- Explain key Artificial Intelligence algorithms, techniques, and applications.
- Recognize ethical implications of Artificial Intelligence development and deployment.
Certificate Requirements (12 Hours)
You must select a minimum of 12 credits (4 courses) from the following course list, and your courses must be completed by or before your graduation date.
- Courses cannot be substituted with a course not seen on this list.
- Some courses or course sections may have enrollment restrictions - and those restrictions must be followed. If you do not meet a course or section’s enrollment requirements, you may choose another course or section from this course list.
