Interscholastic Athletic Administration, Certificate
The Interscholastic Athletic Administration Certificate is designed in a 100% online environment to provide candidates with the knowledge and skills to succeed in an ever-changing interscholastic sports environment. Interscholastic athletics includes high school athletic directors, high school coaches, assistant athletic directors at high school and middle schools. Today, interscholastic athletics exists within a complex business, political, legal, and social landscape. Important interscholastic athletic administrative skills include the ability to manage budgets, handle fundraisers and plan, organize and manage events. In addition, a clear understanding of risk management fundamentals, legal statutes as well as staffing and human resource issues is necessary.
